Hiking in East Hudson Highland [Day Trip]

The weekend after the Gowanus Open Studio, we were invited hiking by one of artist we met.  He was planning a trip up to Cold Spring where you can jump off the train and walk to the trail head.  You actually walk on the train tracks, a bit freaky, but everyone seemed to be walking that way and nobody got hurt sooooooo, whatever.  We were hiking in the East Hudson Highlands around and up Bull Hill.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day.  So warm, I felt like I was over dressed in a long sleeve shirt.  I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Can you see the skyscrapers of the city?

Love the colors!

After the rain earlier in the week, we had some water crossings.

And let’s be honest, they don’t do the views or colors enough justice.
